New line of hemp-infused drink tablets to help Aceso Hemp gain firmer footing in the growing CBD industry - Regina Leader-Post
Aceso Hemp, a subsidiary of Colorado-based cannabis company Dixie Brands, Inc., has launched a line of hemp-infused drink tablets that dissolve in water and contain cannabidiol (CBD).
Called Fizz Tabs, the tablets became available for purchase on May 22. They come in three varieties: Calm, Soothe and Wellness, which the company website claims can help with anxiety, aches and pains, and overall wellbeing, respectively.
Since CBD products are not yet legal in Canada, the tablets are not available for shipment here. However, they are available for purchase in places with legalized CBD-infused products. Because they are derived from hemp, the tablets are legal in every state in the U.S.
The tablets come in packs of 20, and are available for purchase on the company website for US$22.50, not including shipping fees.
All Aceso products, including the new tablets, do not contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and, as such, cause no psychoactive effects, the website adds. Aceso Hemp’s other products are CBD-infused drink mixes and oral sprays.
Kurt Forstmann, vice president for corporate business development at Aceso, says in the statement the new tablets are part of his company’s plan to gain more footing in the growing CBD industry. They “are part of the next-generation of CBD products that are going to continue to set the pace for the category,” Forstmann says.
